Harman Advance Pellet Stove
Equipped with an innovative room sensor, the Harman Advance Pellet Stove guarantees constant temperature levels within your room. This transmits signals to a microprocessor within the stove which triggers either an automatic increase or decrease in the flame level. If temperature within the room exceeds the level you set, it will even turn itself off. It will, however, continue to monitor room temperature and if it senses that this has dropped, it will turn itself on again.
All you need to do is fill in the hopper and set the desired temperature. The hopper is top-loading and has a capacity of 60 pounds. With its tinted glass lid, you can easily check if you need to replenish. If the ambient temperature is lower that the one you set, the stove will automatically run, drawing air across a heating element at the bottom of the burn pot and pushing pellets into the chamber. When the air sufficiently hot, the pellets are ignited.
The feeder that pours pellets into the burn pot or chamber measures the amount poured based on the desired temperature. The stove does not distinguish between pellet grades and will burn them equally efficiently and at very low rates to maximize the energy that can be drawn from them.
An accordion heat exchanger transfers heat from the burn pot to the room. This design multiplies the surface area from which heat can be transferred thus resulting in a more efficient heating. It has a maximum BTU rating of 48,000. An ash pan at the bottom of the stove catches burned pellet residues. As it is oversized, it need not be emptied frequently.
In addition to heating your home, the Harman Advance Pellet Stove is also decorative. The top is highlighted with marble and you are given the choice of cream, light brown, green, or black tiles. The window frame, air grille, and hopper knob can be accented with gold or nickel plating. Another option is a real-looking log set giving it the appearance of a traditional fireplace.
The Advance pellet is small in size, measuring only about 27″W x 32.5″ H x 20.5″ D. In spite of this, it packs a lot of punch.
