With a maximum heat output of 40,000 BTUs, this Enviro pellet stove can quickly heat a room with a floor area of 1,800 square feet. Minimum output, on the other hand, is 6,500 BTUs. Operation is fairly easy. Just open the hopper lid with its handle that is quite convenient to use, pour in the pellets, shut the lid, and hit the “on” button. With an automatic igniter, the stove will kindle the pellets on its own. Turn the Dial-A-Fire Heat Output knob to the 12 o’clock position, wait for the fire to establish itself, and choose the heat output you desire. If you want to increase the rate of airflow into the room, use the Convection Blower Speed Control knob. After this, you can go back to your couch and enjoy the warmth and the dancing flames.
The hopper has a pellet capacity of 55 lbs, and if you turn the stove to a low heat setting, your can expect up to 55 hours of burn time. That’s over two days before you need to refill the hopper.
Heat from the burn chamber is transferred into the room by a concealed heavy-duty heat exchanger. This is further aided by a built-in blower with a convection capacity of 160 cfm. Heat transfer efficiency is rated at 75.8%.
Ashes from the burned pellets fall into a large pedestal ash pan at the bottom of the burn chamber. It is fitted with a latching mechanism to prevent unintentional opening.
