Country Flame CF04-FLEX Crossfire Stove Fireplace Insert

Sporting a stylish contemporary design, the Country Flame can transform an old and unused fireplace into an attractive and practical source of heat for your room.
The design is actually plain and simple. The front is rectangular, having a width of 29 inches and approximately 23 inches in height. It has a glass door with an arched top which clearly displays the raging fire inside. It is flanked by a pair of vents, and at its top is the hot air discharge. The vents have a grille styled in a running bond pattern, while that of the discharge are designed like rays spreading out as they rise. For added appeal, you can opt to install door and vent trims. These come in gold, nickel, and metallic black. The stove itself it available in four colors –sky blue, honey-glo brown, forest green, and metallic black.
In addition to its good looks, the Crossfire fireplace insert provides up to 54,000 BTUs of heat. At this level, it can easily and quickly fill a 2,500-square-foot room with a cozy and comfortable warmth even in the height of winter.
Constructed to be versatile, taking advantage of the fluctuations in the price of fuel, the stove can run on either corn or wood pellets. It is when using corn that the stove can generate 54,000 BTUs, while pellets produce a lower level at 40,500. Since corn is heavier than pellets, the hopper can carry 75 lbs. of the former but only 55 lbs. of the latter. When loaded with corn, the stove can run for a full 50 hours.
Fuel is fired by an automatic electronic igniter as soon as it falls into the firebox. With five heat settings, the stove can be programmed to produce just the right amount of heat for your comfort. A heavy-duty 14-tube heat exchanger transfers the heat generated into the room, with a little help from a 160-CFM room blower. The stove, although thermostat-ready, does not have its own.
As the stove is fitted with a glass air wash system, you won’t see ashes clinging to the glass door to obstruct your view of the fire.
