Breckwell Maverick SP22 Pellet Stove
With its more than 20 successful years in the hearth product industry, Breckwell has added yet another versatile product in its long line of innovative creations. The Breckwell SP22 Deluxe Series is of relatively medium size with exterior dimensions of 28.5 inches high without legs or pedestal, or 30 inches high with legs or pedestal, 21.5 inches wide, and 24 inches deep. It is ideal for standard sized homes, vacation retreats, or condo units.
The Breckwell SP22 is a convertible pellet stove as it can either be an insert or a freestanding model. Being made of heavy steel construction, it can last for years and comes with a lifetime limited waranty. Its exceptionally efficient heating system is made possible largely by its eight heat exchanger tubes and four thermostat-controlled heat settings. The Breckwell SP22 can continuously heat moderately sized rooms with a peak of 40,000 BTUs.
Start up is made easy with the click of a button known as the “Hot Rod” automatic ignitor, another Breckwell innovation. It has a hopper with ample capacity for 45 pounds of pellets that eliminates the need for frequent reloading. Fuel feed is fully automatic. Since the Breckwell SP22 burns pellets at a rate of 1 to 4.5 pounds per hour, burning can run for days if the thermostat is adjusted to moderate heat setting. It boasts of a digital control panel for easy and convenient operation.
Minimum clearances for a freestanding unit are six inches in front and nine inches from sidewalls. An insert installation, on the other hand, needs clearances of a minimum 48-inch height, maximum 36-inch deep, and minimum 38-inch wide within the alcove.
The Breckwell SP22 is truly a sight to reckon with especially when dressed up with a door or cowl in 24-karat gold or nickel plating.
