Bosca Spirit 500 Pellet Stove

Bosca Spirit 500 Pellet Stove

Crafted with rounded front and sides along with a large clear glass through which you can see the dancing flames but with no other embellishments, the Bosca Spirit 500 Pellet Stove is an appliance that sits well in modern rooms. The only other things that break the front are the straight lines of the vent and those separating the hopper and the ash pan from the burn chamber.

Capable of generating from 8,000 to 40,000 BTUs per hour, the pellet stove has the capacity to heat rooms with areas ranging from 1,500 to 1,800 square feet. It is equipped with a hopper that can contain as much as 65 pounds worth of wood pellets depending on their sizes.

When adjusted to its low heat setting, burn rate is at 0.75 pounds per hour. This means that it can continually burn for up to 86 hours without the need to refill the hopper. High heat setting, however, requires 4.5 pounds per hour, thus requiring a refill in 14 hours.

Pellets are automatically ignited once they are pushed into the burn pot by an auger. However, in the event that they do not ignite readily, manual ignition is also possible. Heat generated by the burning pellets is transferred into the room by a convection blower with two speed settings that varies according the feed rate.

To ensure that the glass window does not easily break due to constant exposure to heat, it is made of ceramic glass that is resistant to high temperatures. And to keep it constantly clean, allowing you a clear view of the flame, the stove is fitted with a glass air wash system.

The Bosca Spirit 500 Pellet Stove is constructed with heavy-duty fabricated steel that are welded together. It comes in dark charcoal so it will not clash with the colors of your room. Its dimensions are 23.2″ W x 25.6″ D x 36.5″ H.
