Bosca Classic 500 Pellet Stove

Bosca Classic 500 Pellet Stove

Featuring straight clean lines whose only embellishments consist of round dimples and upright grooves on its front posts, the Bosca Classic 500 Pellet Stove can feel at home both in traditional as well as contemporary rooms. Colored in charcoal, it can blend into any color scheme.

The stove is able to generate heat of up to 40,000 BTUs thus quickly heating rooms with areas ranging from 15,000 to 18,000 square feet. Minimum output, on the other hand, is 8,000 BTUs. Equipped with five heat settings, you can choose the level of heat output that is most comfortable for you. Choosing lower levels when ambient temperature is only moderately low, of course, slows down the burning of wood pellets resulting in the reduction of your heating costs.

With a hopper capacity of 65 pounds and a burn rate between 0.75 and 4.5 pounds per hour, the Classic 500 can continually burn up to 86 hours if adjusted to its lowest heat setting and up to 14 hours if adjusted to its maximum. An extra large ash pan catches the residue from the burnt wood pellets. It is a drawer type pan that is easily accessed.

To allow you to fine tune the heat level in your room, the Bosca Classic 500 is designed to accept a thermostat. Its wirings are ready and are only awaiting the needed connections.

Heat is transferred from the burn chamber and into the room with the aid of a convection blower. It has two speed settings, with the higher capable of moving air at 160 CFM.

Wood pellets pushed by an auger into the burn pot are automatically ignited. On rare occasions when the pellets fail to ignite, they can be manually ignited.

The flame inside the stove is visible through a 10″ x 10″ high temperature ceramic glass window. It is kept clean by a glass air wash so you can always enjoy watching the flickering flame. As an option, you can have a refractive brick lining the back of the burn chamber.

The Bosca Classic 500 Pellet Stove has dimensions of approximately 35″ H x 23″ W x 25″ D.
