Austroflamm Rika Premio Pellet Stove
Constructed from fabricated steel with aluminum or ceramic heat dispersing ribs, the Austroflamm Rika Premio Pellet Stove is a durable machine that efficiently performs its function of providing warmth and comfort to your rooms.
With a maximum heat capacity of 35,600 BTUs, the Premio can easily heat a room with an area of 1,500 square feet. Minimum heat output, on the other hand, is 11,000 BTUs which is set when ambient temperatures are only moderately low. At this setting, the pellet stove can burn continuously for almost two full days.
The hopper can hold up to 70 pounds of pellets. Although premium pellets are recommended for best results, the stove can burn standard versions. A worm conveyor system delivers the pellets from the hopper to the combustion chamber where they are automatically set on fire by an ignition cartridge.
A patented volume sensor regulates the amount of air entering the combustion chamber to optimize combustion. Apart from helping in the combustion process, the air is also directed over the glass window to keep it free from ashes and other debris, thus giving you a continuous clear view of the flickering flames through the 10″ x 7″ opening. An internal fan forces smoke from the fire into the chimney keeping your room completely smoke-free.
A built-in convection blower with a capacity of 100 CFM draws the heated air in the combustion chamber and directs it into the room. For European models, this feature is optional, but it is standard for units sold in the United States.
The stove is thermostat compatible allowing you to set your desired temperature levels. As an option, you can include a feature that enables the programming of the thermostat for the succeeding seven days.
You can control the Austroflamm Rika Premio Pellet Stove in one of three ways. First is through the controls mounted on the stove. Second, you can use a remote control. And finally, with the Rika tele control system, you can also turn the stove on or off even while outside your home by calling a programmed number with a landline or mobile phone.
